What Indiana’s Coronavirus Testing Shows About Reopening
INDIANAPOLIS — One of the most frustrating things about this pandemic is that we still don’t know how many people have been truly infected. We know how many people have tested positive, but that’s not the same thing, because limits in testing don’t give us a full picture. It would require a full statewide, random sample study to allow us to see what’s going on.
That, of course, would require a government that leads.
We’ve just seen that happen in Indiana. Thanks to a study done with the state’s help, we now know that it’s likely that about 2.8 percent of Hoosiers have so far been infected with this virus.
